KEA Boxing Press conference and meet and greet set for Monday at Club 222 North
Philadelphia (February 20, 2010) This Monday, February 22, KEA Boxing will hold its inaugural press conference and meet and greet for the South Philly Slugfest. The exciting ten bout card of professional boxing is scheduled for Friday night February 25th at the Arena in South Philadelphia, will feature the always exciting North Philadelphia lightweight Victor Vasquez (11-3, 6KO's) in the toughest fight of his professional career, when he faces tough Ecuadorian, Carlos Vinan (8-8-3, 1KO) in the six round main event which is sure to be a war.
The Press conference will begin at 6PM with a meet and greet session for the public directly following.
The undercard is loaded with local and regional prospects matched tough in what is sure to produce an exciting night of action that will leave everybody satisfied. The co-feature of the evening will be an evenly matched six round junior middleweight tussle, as Philadelphia's own Ardrick Butler (4-1, 1KO) squares off against Norman Allen (6-3, 3KO's) of Laurel, Maryland.

Adrick Butler (4-1, 1KO)-up and coming junior middleweight prospect.

South Philly Slugfest set!!!
Philadelphia, PA - Andre Kut’s KEA boxing Promotions is set to bring an explosive night of professional boxing to the Arena in South Philadelphia, PA on Friday, February 26th. Headlining the card will be a six round lightweight clash between the always exciting Victor Vasquez (11-3, 6KO’s) and rugged Carlos Vinan (8-8, 1KO). Vasquez, of North Philadelphia has put together quite a fan base due to his all out action packed bouts, which leave everybody on the edge of their seats. In his last bout on January 15th at this very same Arena , Victor sent his hometown fans home happy with an impressive fifth round stoppage of the Gustavo Dailey.
His opponent in the spectacular main event, Carlos Vinan has faced a who’s who of the lightweight division and owns a victory over the highly touted Eric "The Outlaw" Hunter. Vinan is known for his “in your face, take no quarters” style, and is sure to make this a slugfest that you won’t want to miss.
In the co-feature of the evening, Philadelphia’s own, Ardrick Butler (4-1, 1KO) will be put to the test in his first six round scrap, as he faces Norman Allen (6-3, 3KO’s) of Laurel, Maryland.
If you like the big boys, South Philly heavyweight prospect John Mercurio (3-0, 3KO’s), will be back in action against the always dangerous opponent to be announced. Mercurio, a former Tough man fighter, has become a local fan favorite in the Philly area. He needed only a minute and twenty three seconds to starch James Pratt in his last bout on October 16th.
There will be a special women’s attraction as Elizabeth Sherman (1-0, 1KO) will square off against Martisha Graham (0-2) in a four round lightweight bout.
Undefeated North Philly lightweight prospect Angel Ocasio (1-0) is set to swap punches over four rounds with Atlantic City, New Jersey’s Osnel Charles (1-1).
KEA'S welterweight prospect Juan "The Beast" Rodriguez (1-0, 1KO) of Union City, New Jersey is ready to do battle with Cumberland, Maryland's Dontre King (1-5-1) in a four round scrap. Rodriquez, a former Golden Gloves champion, was ranked number four in the US as an amateur. He made his professional debut with an explosive first round KO of Bobby Bynum on December 4th.
Three other local prospects Kareem Cooley, Anthony Yoder, Jr. and Brian Jennings are ready to make their professional debuts in separate four round bouts. Lightweight Kareem Cooley (PD) will battle it out with Sidell Blocker (0-1). Super bantamweight Anthony Yoder, Jr. will square off against Joshua Orocho (0-2). Heavyweight Brian Jennings (PD) is also set for action against an opponent yet to be determined.
Also slated for action will be two top New Jersey prospects, heavyweight Lavarn "Baby Bull" Harvell (4-0, 1KO) and super middleweight Joel De La Paz (4-0, 3KO’s) in separate bouts.

Gavern Decisions Rhodes!
Andre Kut of KEA Boxing, brought professional boxing back to Wilkes-Barre, PA for the first time in over twenty years with an entertaining seven bout card at the Woodlands Inn and Resort on Saturday night. It was a successful event for the Scranton-Wilkes-Barre fans as former Scranton police officer and heavyweight prospect, Jason Gavern (17-5-3, 8KO’s) put on a six round boxing clinic, capturing a one sided, six round unanimous decision victory over Michael “Big Daddy” Rhodes (3-5-3, 1KO). In the co-feature of the evening Old Forge, PA’s Anthony Cusumano (3-2-1, 2KO’s) moved above the five hundred mark with a second round stoppage of hard luck Philadelphian, Emmanuelle Rosas (0-5).
KEA Boxing comes to Wilkes-Barre

A New Jersey promoter is looking to punch up boxing in Northeastern Pa., beginning with a night of fights Saturday, April 11 at the Woodlands Inn & Resort.
KEA Boxing Promotions hopes the event is the first of many in the region.
Highlighting the card will be Scranton’s Jason Gavern (16-5-3, 8 KOs), a former police officer and current heavyweight, and Anthony Cusumano (2-2-1) of Old Forge. Antonio “Tony the Tiger” Espinoza (9-0, 1 KO) of New Jersey, Philadelphia’s Clinton Douglas (2-2-2) and New York City light heavyweight Denys Lozada (5-2, 2 KOs) will also get in the ring.

KEA Boxing's "Wildwood Wars" lived up to its billing last night from the Oceanfront Arena in the Wildwoods Convention Center in Wildwood, New Jersey. In KEA Boxing's 10 th show to date, "The Polish Raging Bull", Pawel Wolak, 18-0, 13 KO's was very impressive in a dominant performance over "The Contender" Season 1 participant, Jonathan "Reid Dog" Reid, 34-8, 18 KO's. In the co-feature of the evening, hometown hero, Wildwood, New Jersey's Chuck "The Professor" Mussachio had a rough time with the Bronx, New York's Victor Paz, 9-5, 1 KO, but managed to overcome adversity and capture a split decision victory in their exciting light heavyweight bout.

Undefeated Light Heavyweight prospect, "Professor" Chuckie Mussachio, 10-0 (5), will headline KEA Boxing's "Wildwood Wars" Saturday, November 10 th. He will be taking on the Bronx, New York's Victor Paz at the Oceanfront Arena in Wildwood, New Jersey.
Mussachio last fought on KEA boxing's "Brawls at the Birchwood 3". After an impressive performance in that outing over "Smokin" Joe Frazier's fighter, Chandler Durham, KEA decided to take the show on the road into Mussachio's hometown of Wildwood, New Jersey.
